DELIVERIES AND COLLECTION

We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the cake at the specified location by the agreed-upon time. While we strive for on-time delivery, timing cannot be guaranteed, and refunds will not be issued for delays. Once the cake is delivered to the venue, we will not be responsible for any damage to the cake.

Similarly, if the cake or products are collected from our premises, we cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred once they have left our facility. The collection vehicle must have air-conditioning and a clean, flat surface, which is the responsibility of the client. We advise driving slowly and carefully, and we recommend using non-slip matting due to the fragility of the cake.

CAKE HANDLING

After delivery, please refrigerate your cake until the recommended serving time:

  • Cool days: Remove 3-6 hours prior.

  • Warm days: Remove 1-1.5 hours prior.

You are responsible for providing a suitable, sturdy table and environment for the cake. Large cakes can be heavy and should be kept at an optimal room temperature.

If damage occurs through no fault of Sugarcoat, you may request repairs before the event start time (subject to availability). Please note that a service fee will apply, and payment must be made at the time of repairs.

Goods placed outside may react to temperature changes. In hot or humid weather, there is a risk of sugar decorations melting or damage to the products. Please note that we do not provide cake stands, tablecloths, or cutting knives; it is the client's responsibility to supply these or check with the venue to ensure they are available.

PHOTO USAGE

We may take photos of the cake and use them for promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and printed or online materials.

COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaints or concerns after receiving your goods, please submit them in writing, including evidence of any faults, damages, or discrepancies. Any refunds will be issued at our discretion.
